Liaison Services

We offer specialised service of education, support and information to any person with a brain injury and their families/Whanau and carers living in the Hawke’s Bay region.

Our help is for people wanting the right assistance. It includes filling in forms, making telephone calls and liaising with social service providers, local government agencies, and other community organisations on behalf of clients. We can give information or assistance to obtain the appropriate professional help or service in our community.

BIA (HB) has access to exclusive Outward Bound courses specifically designed to cater for people with brain injuries.

Our library at Headway House is available with information on Brain Injury. We offer education and information for the community, including other organisations and schools.

Support Groups

We have education and support groups available. Please contact Dairne on 06 8786875 or email for more information on these specialised sessions.
